Planning tasks

Sorus can place your tasks into the free time around your events.

Plan

Click Plan in the calendar's toolbar. Sorus looks at the next two weeks, and places each open task:

• after its Not before and by its Done by;
• for as long as it Takes;
• around your events and each other.

Placed tasks show on the calendar and in the rail under Planned.

Beside the button, Sorus says how the plan stands:

• Plan up to date
• Plan out of date, after you've changed something. Plan again.
• N tasks didn't fit. They're under Not placed in the rail. Widen their window, shorten them, or make room.

Keep things where they are

• Pin here, on a task's card, keeps it where it is. Moving a task by hand pins it too.
• Tasks in the next few days stay put when you plan again, so tomorrow doesn't reshuffle. How many days is set in Settings › Calendar & planning (two by default).

Do it

When it's time, click the task and Start now. That starts an activity linked to the task; Today then shows a Done chip to tick it off.
