Appearance
Your first launch
The first time Sorus opens on a device with a new, empty workspace, it asks how you'd like to start.
- I'm new here installs Basics, one of Sorus's own extensions, with types for people, organizations, projects, books, places and links. You can make those objects straight away.
- I know what I'm doing starts empty. Add extensions whenever you like from the + beside Apps in the sidebar.
Pressing Esc is the same as starting empty. Sorus asks once per device, and not at all for a workspace that already has pages.
Either way, every workspace also gets Today and Calendar, which are part of Sorus.
Where you land
Sorus opens on Jot: a blank line, ready to type. From there:
- Type a thought and press ↵ to log it as a moment in today's log.
- Press ⌘N for a new page.
- Press ⌘K to find anything, or to see what you can do.
