Undo, trash and restore

Undo

Inside text, ⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z undo and redo your typing.

Elsewhere, the same keys undo what you did to the workspace: moving to the trash, restoring, renaming, moving a page, making an object, editing fields, marking a task done, changing the day's log, and more. A short note at the foot of the window says what was undone.

The trash

Deleted pages and objects go to the Trash, at the foot of the sidebar. They stay there for 30 days, then Sorus deletes them for good.

In the Trash, select an item to preview it. Then:

  • Restore puts it back where it was.
  • Delete forever removes it now. If other pages or objects link to it, Sorus tells you how many before you confirm. This can't be undone.

Each item shows how many days it has left.

Trashed things in pages

A page that embeds a trashed object shows it as In trash: name. Click it to restore it.
