Link to a page or object
Type [[ and start typing a name. Sorus lists matching pages and objects, with each one's type. Choose one with ↵.
If nothing matches exactly, the last choice is New page “name”, which makes the page and links to it.
A link on a line of its own shows as a card; inside a sentence it reads as part of the text. Click it to open what it links to.
Link to a heading
Type # after the page's name, as in [[Lisbon in spring#, and Sorus lists that page's headings. Choose one to link straight to it: the link reads Lisbon in spring › Before we go, and clicking it opens the page at that heading.
Type [[# to link to a heading on the page you're writing in.
Link to the web
Type [label](https://example.com), or select text and click the link button in the toolbar, then type the address. Or select text and paste an address over it.
A web address on a line of its own shows as a card, with the page's title, what it's about, and its picture. Click it to open the page in Pages, or hold ⌘ to open it in your usual browser. A YouTube or Vimeo link plays in place when you click it. Put the cursor on the line to edit the address.
What links here
At the foot of every page, Linked from lists the pages and objects that link to it. Under it, Mentioned in lists pages that name it without a link; Link makes that mention a link.
Open page details (⇧⌘\) and choose Linked to see what a page links to, and what links to it.
